FILIPPO MAINELLA
FOUNDER & CEO
Filippo Mainella brings a strong technical foundation to the Academy. He holds a degree in Building Systems Technology from Vanier College, a government-issued EPCM Contractors License from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec, and a Certificate of Competency as a Painting Specialty Contractor from the Pinellas County Construction Licensing Board.
As a business owner, he acquired and grew ElectroPompe to ten employees and built a CertaPro Painters territory from startup into a business with millions in annual sales. Through Advantage Business Partners, he manages payroll, human resources, workers’ compensation, insurance, and worker classification. He also works directly with 1099 contractors on licensing and business formation.
This combination of credentials, ownership, and workforce experience makes him well suited to lead the Academy and the development of its digital platform.
